Elizabeth Reaser is an American TV, film and theater actor, best known for her performances in movies such as The Twilight Saga and series like Greys Anatomy and True Detective. Elizabeth Reaser was raised and born in Michigan. From a young age she aspired to be an actor. Following her high-school education, she joined the drama division of Juilliard School and graduated with a degree in fine arts. As a guest in The Sopranos she had her first TV appearance. Later, she appeared on other popular shows including The Jury Hack, Standoff as well as The Jury. When she landed the role as Alice Alden on the 2006 show Saved and her career began to take off. Jessica began to show an interest in film and TV. Her first job was as an actress. Her discovery as an actor when the Australian casting director contacted models to audition. She booked the part of 'Kiki' in The Lightning Point/Alien Surf Girl. Since then, she has had minor part in films like Peter Pan and Aquamarine. In the Netflix Original Series Roman Empire, she played Cleopatra. She also appeared in the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean film: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Jessica was selected by a global search to be the main character for the film The Outpost. The producers requested a video of her acting as well as MMA. Producers asked her to send an MMA video of her swordfighting. The next day Jessica submitted it. Jessica read the script, and was aware that the character would need weapon training. Her first video was recorded lesson with a professional following reading it. Jonathan Glassner claims that the stunt crew were astonished by her performance in their first class. This was her first US big role, as she was previously in Australian movies. Jessica's enthusiasm for action is evident in her character that includes mixed martial arts, horseback riding expertise, in addition to her strength and agility. Additionally, she can perform her stunts in a way that portrays an imposing female role model. In Australia she learned muay Thai and boxing. Jake Stormoen came across dogs roaming about the filming set of Season 4 while on set. The puppy had taken up residence within one of the locations. Jessica took care of two puppies.
